Generally, your technician can get the part your heat pump needs. Their trucks are well stocked but, in the case we cannot source a part the same day, HTS will ensure your system continues to run.

Be sure your thermostat is set to COOL in the summer and HEAT during the winter. If not on the right selection it won't turn on, no matter what.
Locate the return vent (usually that metal grate that sucks in your home's air.) Open it and you will see an air filter. If that filter is filthy, change it. Dirt on the filter can create many problems, including causing your AC to freeze up and shut down.
Your circuit breaker may have tripped. Locate your electrical panel and check the breaker. Is it tripped? Turn it to the OFF position, then ON. If your breaker trips again call us immediately! You will need professional help from there.
